SCETA conducted a mid-term evaluation of the project “Enhancing Protection and Justice for Vulnerable Children and Youth in Jordan”, implemented by Terre des hommes Lausanne (Tdh – L) and supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the project’s performance and progress toward its objectives, while also identifying areas for course correction to strengthen outcomes during the remainder of the implementation period.
The evaluation employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative tools, including:
- Desk review of project documents
- Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
- Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)
- Surveys and questionnaires
- Field visits and direct observations
SCETA’s team assessed the project’s relevance, analyzing how well its objectives, activities, and outputs aligned with the needs and priorities of the target population, the local context, and relevant national policies. The evaluation also explored the project’s adaptability, looking at how it has responded to evolving challenges and contextual shifts since its launch.
The findings provided Tdh – L and its partners with evidence-based insights to inform strategic adjustments, improve delivery, and enhance the project’s overall impact on the protection and justice landscape for children and youth in Jordan.
